POETS Day Lunch at The Palmer Arms

Our first POETS day (Push off early tomorrow's Saturday) lunch takes place at The Palmer Arms in Dorney, a lovely little pub not far from Dorney Lake. We have arranged with Liz (one of the owners) a room with a view, a delicious buffet lunch and as it is our first Business in Berkshire lunch event … a welcoming drink too!
For those of you who enjoy menu browsing, the chef will be preparing for us the menu below. Liz and I agreed that there would be something to tempt all palates. We believe that providing a buffet lunch would add to the informal gathering and allow us to relax, mingle, review the past week and share thoughts for the next week…. If you simply wish to contemplate the meaning of life … well that’s okay too. Consider this as a time simply ‘to be’ before the weekend officially starts! If you haven’t already signed up, do so today. The date for your diary is Friday 23 June; meeting at 12.30pm and lunch will be served at 1.00pm. Please feel free to bring a colleague.
