I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the recent Everywoman conference in Oxford. Despite a rather wet and windy day outside, inside the hotel the mood was very upbeat and motivational. Karen and Maxine, co-founders of Everywoman made us very welcome at the Oxford location.
The conference was fully packed with a selection of business speakers, an excellent business panel, informative workshops and lots of opportunity to network too! The day itself ran very smoothly and on time. In fact, often I was so engrossed in what was going on I completely lost track of time!
I particularly enjoyed the talk given by Leila Wilcox (Managing Director of Halos and Horns) about how she started her business providing organic shampoos for children. She took us through some of the challenges she encountered before she made it to the £m business it is today …and there’s no stopping her yet!
What do you get by attending this event? Well, I came away with several items – motivation, inspiration, good business connections and loads of refreshing thoughts and ideas to help me in my business.
What would I like to share about this particular conference? If you’ve not been to one yet I would encourage you to attend the next one, which will be held next month in Exeter. If that doesn’t schedule easily into your diary then the Everywoman national conference will be held in November in London.
