Berkshire mum sets up 'dream' business
A mother-of-three from Newbury has established a highly successful business after being inspired by a dream. Lucy Brown set up her own Safehands franchise after having a dream that she had started a new childcare business. The company, which operates in and around Reading, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Camberley, Sunninghill and Slough, offers hotel babysitting services, out-of-school care, holiday clubs and domiciliary care - all services which can help to make busy parents' lives that much easier. However, Ms Brown reveals that the core feature of her business is the mobile creche service which she provides for events such as weddings and corporate occasions, with race days at Ascot and Newbury particularly in demand. "All clients are the same, too much to do and not enough time to do it, so we step in and take the weight off their shoulders," the businesswoman explained. "We are the leading company in Britain and genuinely care about what we do," she continued. "There is nothing more precious than our children and working parents know the stresses and strains of trying to juggle domestic and work life."
