Women interested in starting their own business have a second opportunity to be inspired and motivated into action, with another FREE seminar supported by Reading Enterprise Gateway, Business link, Social Enterprise Berkshire and Opening Doors.
This free seminar will be held in Reading Town Hall on Saturday 10th March – 9am – 1pm. A contribution towards childcare for mothers wishing to attend is available via the Enterprise Gateway. Two keynote speakers of exceedingly high quality will open the event. Natalie Green of Verdant Consultancy will speak on the mindset needed to start up your own business, followed by Alex Phillips, winning skipper of BT Global Challenge boat race who will relay her experiences on this famous historic race. A series of local female entrepreneurs will share their 10 top tips for success both in starting and sustaining your business, covering topics such as, starting your business, sales & marketing, dress to impress, networking skills, assertiveness, accepting mistakes and goal setting. A variety of other business organisations will be available on the day to offer free business advice for anyone considering a new future for themselves.
