Helping Women in Business
Hi there. It’s a real pleasure to be taking over the reins from Mary, who has done such a fantastic job of energising Women in Business for Business in Berkshire. Helping women be successful in business has been a passion of mine for years now, upon discovering how few there were when I worked in the IT industry, particularly if you looked at the numbers in executive roles.
My number one priority here is to ensure that we provide information and support that will really help you to move your business forward. I am also very keen to spotlight those of you that run your own business, to raise your own awareness within the community. Given Christmas is almost upon us (frightening thought – I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet!!), my plan is to get around and talk to a good number of you between now and the New Year, so that we hit the ground running in 2007.
