Organic farming is a form of agriculture that relies on the ecosystem management, excluding the use of synthetic inputs, such as fertilizers and pesticides and genetically modified organisms (GMO's). In many countries, the use of veterinary drugs are also excluded.
In many countries, Bulgaria, Iceland, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, Australia, India, Japan, EU, Argentina etc organic farming is also defined by law, so that the the use of organic to farming and food products is regulated by the government. Methods of Farming Organic farming can vary. Generally the exclusion of synthetic agrichemicals, those these include the protection of the soil (erosion, nutrient depletion) promotion of biodiversity (growing multi crops rather than a single crop) and outdoor farming for livestock and poultry (grazing). Most farmers develop their own systems which are determined by climate, market conditions, local agricultural regulations. Organic Farming concentrates on food for immediate Consumption for example, dairy, eggs, fruit, vegetables, compared to Organic food which is producted without the use of artifical herbicides, GMO and pesticides. Though it can also loosely be applied to store-bought food, food grown from a personal garden where no synthetic chemicals are used or even food that is hunted or gathered in the wild.
