Catherine Moutell – Director

Catherine set up Waterloo Brown Limited in 2004. She has over twelve years’ experience in events and conference management and has organised and project managed a wide range of events from small seminars and training workshops to set-piece conferences and special events. These included conferences and exhibitions supported by the Department for Transport and a book launch at the Ritz Hotel in London for a private publisher.

Working mainly in small teams, Catherine has had significant input into the structure of events, suggesting topics, speakers, locations and developing materials and co-ordinating advertising. Catherine has worked to secure sponsorship including media funding and sold exhibition space. She has directly controlled the budgets for most of the events she has managed.

Lizzie Bingham – Associate
Lizzie started her career in publishing before joining the BBC where she spent seven very enjoyable years working for their Strategy and Distribution Division as the Divisional Manager. Her role included conference and events management, facilitating and arranging staff annual reviews, writing the monthly internal communications newsletter, working towards and being awarded Investors in People award for her division, liaising with other BBC sectors and organising training for staff.

Lizzie relocated to Rutland and has worked as a project manager in the East Midlands in recent years. Lizzie joined Waterloo Brown in May 2005, where she heads up projects, manages a small administration team and plays an important role in developing the company’s marketing strategy.

Kendra Grahame-Clarke - Associate
Kendra’s PR career spans 15 years specialising in lifestyle, food and leisure. Working for a major food group, Kendra managed the Newman’s Own PR account. Kendra worked closely with the actor Paul Newman in the US on both the charity aspect of his brand of salad dressings and sauces, and publicity to retailers and the public. Her role also involved crisis management and internal PR for this global food company.

Having built links through Newman’s Own with the Hearst company in the US and UK, Kendra was taken on by the Good Housekeeping magazine to manage a regular feature in the UK issue, developing commercial initiatives both within the magazine and the renowned Good Housekeeping Institute. Kendra worked with the editorial, commercial and central departments to increase revenue, outside of advertising, and to raise the profile of the magazine to increase readership and subscription. Kendra now brings her PR and event management skills to Waterloo Brown.
