Bracknell Armed Forces Day The 26th June 2010 saw the Bracknell Armed Forces Day at the Recreation Park opposite South Hill Park Mansion in Ringmead, Bracknell RG12 7PA

This years event was bigger and had a lot more to offer than last year, and it was Free. The Salute during the main parade between 1330 - 1430 was be taken by Brigadier Neil Baverstock.

BAFD - What is on the Horizon
The planned Bracknell Armed Forces Day 2010 will include stands from organisations such as the Bracknell Royal British Legion, The Royal Naval Association, RAF Association and Cadet Forces, etc., there were displays provided by the ATC Cadets; with a presentation of Veterans Lapel Badges. We are proud to share the parade with the Reading Scottish Pipe Band and the Army Medical Service Band. A day that will be enjoyed by everyone.     more
Parking Plan for the Bracknell Armed Forces Day 26th June 2010
To assist with reducing congestion Local Residents are encouraged to seek alternative means of getting to our event and as a last resort use one of the three nominated carparks. Drivers are requested to respect the local Ringmead residental parking and not to cause obstructions or park on the grass verges.     more
Bracknelll Armed Forces Promotion Day
On the 12th June 2010 Bracknell held a Promotion Day in their Town Centre where the BAFD 2010 Committee spent the day promoting the forth coming event to be held on 26th June at the Recreation Park opposite South Hill Park Mansion, Ringmead in Bracknell. Local residents were happy to join in the festive mood and a few posed for photographs.     more
