Facing Tough Times Breakfast Meeting
Invitation to Economic Outlook "Facing Tough Times" - 21st May 2009

We very much hope you will be able to join us and the Bank of England at the third in the series of breakfast meetings to be held over the next year which will involve contributions from prominent business people and expert business commentators with an opportunity to discuss key issues with others at the breakfast briefing.

The breakfast meeting will be held at 7.15am on Thursday, 21st May 2009 at the new Hilton Hotel, Reading, located at Drake Way, Reading RG2 0GQ.

We are privileged that Brian McBride, UK MD of Amazon has agreed to present on how the current economic climate is affecting Amazon and to give his perspective on future plans for Amazon.

Chris Piper, Bank of England, will be providing an expert analysis of the economy and its future prospects. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of both speakers.

We anticipate that there will be strong demand for seats but hope that you, or one of your senior colleagues, will be able to attend and represent your organisation.

As a non-member of TVEP, attendance at this event will cost £20 + VAT (£23) per seat.
