TVEP welcomes another leading company to its network
Regus, the world’s largest provider of workplace solutions, is the latest organisation to join the Thames Valley Economic Partnership (TVEP), the business network which helps maintain the area as a vibrant and dynamic economic region.
TVEP and Regus have already worked together to help a number of overseas companies set up in the Thames Valley. When Czech company Altron, a provider of datacentre solutions, wanted to set up in the UK for the first time, it turned to TVEP for help with specific issues it faced such as recruitment and office space. TVEP introduced Altron to the Regus Group, which provided flexible office space in Green Park, Reading that will allow the company room to expand as it establishes itself in the UK.
Regus was already working with Dtex Systems, an Australian IT security company which wanted to set up an office in the Thames Valley as part of its global expansion strategy. Regus introduced Dtex to TVEP to help provide introductions to experts who could support other aspects of setting up in the region, such as recruitment, schools and housing.
Mark Dixon, CEO of Regus, explains why the firm has joined TVEP: "When overseas companies decide to develop their business in the UK, serviced offices are often the most effective option. Being part of the TVEP network allows us to offer our workplace solutions to new companies wishing to base themselves in the Thames Valley region.
