APS Chartered Surveyors become TVEP’s latest recruits
APS Chartered Surveyors have become the latest organisation to join Thames Valley Economic Partnership (TVEP), the business network which helps maintain the area as a vibrant and dynamic economic region.
Originally starting out in London nearly 13 years ago, APS have found themselves branching out into the Thames Valley after working for a number of high profile clients in the region. Andrew Gower, Director heading up the Thames Valley team, said: “Being in the Thames Valley enables us to physically respond rapidly to our clients in the area – accessibility is key, especially when projects demand for us to be onsite at the drop of a hat”.
APS Chartered Surveyors opened an office in GreenPark, Reading as it was drawn to the region by high profile clients such Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Thames Water and Harris Systems.
One of the company’s most recent ventures was the refurbishment of Thatcham Business Village on behalf of CityReal. APS were appointed to project manage the external and internal renovations to the lettable units, turning the village into a highly attractive business park in a much sought location.
Andrew said of joining TVEP: “We want to demonstrate our commitment to clients in the region and expand our business presence in the Thames Valley. Some of our main clients are key players in the area and TVEP provides a logical way for us to gain greater exposure to similar companies in the region.”
TVEP’s Chief Executive, Shaun Whittaker, said of APS membership: “We are delighted that APS have decided to come on board. We are looking forward to working with them and other TVEP member organisations to ensure that the Thames Valley region receives the focus and investment it deserves.”
