Calendar of TVEP Events
Following the success of the inaugural Economic outlook event in November the next in the series is being held at Oracle Corporation, Thames Valley Park, Reading.

In the current economic climate we hear from the Bank of England and one of the Thames Valley’s key players, Cisco systems. The event is designed to discuss the economy on a regional and national scale with examples from the contributing speakers.

Phil is VP & MD for Cisco UK & Ireland and leads one of the company’s largest country operations. His role encompasses overall responsibility for field operations, strategy and planning, as well as advocating the productivity and social benefits of networking technologies to the region’s business and political leaders.

John Whitley has been the Bank of England Agent for Central Southern England since 2004. He worked in the Financial Stability area of the bank between 2000-2004 and became Chief Forecaster in 1995 until 2000. Prior to joining the Bank of England John lectured and researched in economic modelling at the London Business School and the University of Warwick.
