Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards 2008 - Calling all Thames Valley exporters

Regional companies who export successfully around the world are being urged to go for glory in this year’s Thames Valley Business Awards.

It’s the first time that the prestigious award scheme, now in its fourteenth year, has had a dedicated International Trade Award category and, with the global marketplace providing new opportunities, it’s a chance for local businesses to shine.

The category is being sponsored by Windsor-based foreign exchange specialist HiFX, who said: “We see this region as a hot bed for companies trading globally, the lifeblood of our economy, and we want to acknowledge those that rise above the challenges of cross border trading.”

Judges are looking for businesses who have used particularly innovative methods to build their overseas markets and overcome specific challenges, while financial performance, innovation and business strategy will all be under the spotlight.

Already competition is hotting up, with a variety of both smaller and larger companies throughout the region lining up for the awards and the countdown is on, with the closing date of September 26 getting closer.
