Extra week to complete Thames Valley Business Award entries |

Judges of this year’s prestigious Thames Valley Business Awards have extended the closing date by seven days to give companies precious extra time to submit their entries.
The final deadline is now Friday, October 7, and organisers expect a last minute rush for the awards, which are traditionally viewed as the premier business event on the autumn calendar. David Murray, chairman of the judges, said: “We know time is always critical, which is why we’ve decided to make it easier by extending the closing date beyond the end of September. “We’ve already had a terrific response from both newcomers and past entrants, and the quality of submissions so far is excellent. We always attract some fantastic names and this year is no different, so if you want to see your business take centre stage in front of the brightest and the best of the Thames Valley business community – now is your chance.” This year’s awards evening takes place on November 17, at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading, with guest speaker Lord Digby Jones, well-known as a champion of British industry and former director general of the CBI.
