Promoting, Connecting and Inspiring Innovators –
16th October, 2007 in Green Park, Reading
Companies across the Thames Valley will be able to learn from the experience of innovative market leaders at this year’s Thames Valley Innovation Conference in October.
Kevin Dillon, CEO of Acision, is one of the innovation leaders who will address the conference. He said, “For Acision, innovation must be continuous and always changing as we serve a very fast moving and ever changing global market where more than 3.5 billion people daily are using their mobile phones and devices to communicate via texting and other forms of messaging. We must always anticipate and respond to ever increasing customer needs.”
Acision was established in June 2007 following the purchase of LogicaCMG’s telecoms products division. Located at Green Park, Reading and with offices and clients around the world, it has already established a reputation for its progressive, exciting and agile philosophy of innovation.
The Thames Valley Innovation Conference is a one day conference designed to promote innovation, connect and inspire innovators. The conference is organised by the Thames Valley Economic Partnership, the organisation that is committed to developing the region’s dynamic economy. Conference Director, Peter Norris of TVEP said “All companies that aspire to be more innovative will benefit from this event. It is a great opportunity to learn from the experience and best practice of market leaders like Acision who use continuous innovation cycles to improve business performance and gain competitive advantage.”
Delegates will hear from other established Thames Valley innovators such as Microsoft, Cisco, UCB and Reckitt Benckiser, as well as learning about some of the successful breakthrough innovations of the region’s fastest growing companies such as Marlow-based SpinVox and Newbury-based Arieso.
15 of the Thames Valley’s hottest innovators will promote their solutions in a dedicated Innovation Showcase area alongside an exhibition of businesses that support innovation
There will also be an Investment Showcase where early stage companies seeking funding will have the opportunity to present to business angels and potential investors.
Thanks to sponsorship from SEEDA, Cisco, NESTA, Boyes Turner, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the University of Reading, the conference and exhibition are free for business delegates to attend.
