True Concepts Ltd is a new Berkshire company formed in 2007. The company’s primary focus is to design, develop and market innovative products within a multitude of arenas.
Its kick off product is focussing on Child Protection from Internet Predators.
The solution is a simple USB thumb drive that can remotely view and take control over designated PCs from anywhere via the Internet. It allows you to monitor what your kids, employees or anyone using your computer is doing whilst on the Internet. Monitoring Internet Messenger conversations (and other Internet Chat programs, MSN, Yahoo, AOL), email conversation activity, websites visited, all in real time. The standard product comes with a license to monitor three pcs remotely and extra PC licenses can be supplied at the point of purchase or retrospectively from the product itself over the web. All three PC’s activity is stored in log files on the USB stick; easily storing a full year’s worth of activity and can be reviewed later in detail offline.
Enhancements of the product will be an ongoing project for the company, adding additional functionality and extra monitoring services to reflect the most common and current chat programs. True Concepts is focusing this product at Child Internet protection, however there are many areas for such a product that will be of value to the public and to businesses. Corporate monitoring of its staff’s Internet behaviour for protection against possible law suits or as we have seen recently; industrial espionage of company secrets and ideas.
