Sally back with the clay
The many admirers of Sally’s work will have been disappointed that there has been only one addition to her gallery this year. Sally had the misfortune to fracture the humerus bone in her left arm and badly compact the shoulder joint which put paid to serious sculpting for several months.
We are glad to report however that she is now back in her studio doing some of her best work yet, and soon to be added to her gallery are a crouched lion, massive in bronze resin, a black panther in bronze and a bronze scene depicting a number of hippo in water. These will be presented on this site in the near future.
Meanwhile we are happy to show the single offering so far this year, which is a small bronze resin of a dwarf mongoose which she captured on film during her most recent African visit.
This appealing item is an ideal gift and can be used as a paper weight, book end or simply as a delightful conversation piece on the coffee table.
Last October, her lovely bronze of a Blue Wildebeest labelled "The Leap" was accepted for exhibition at the premier showpiece of the work of Wildlife Artists held at the Mall Gallery in London. This is the second time that Sally's work has been accepted for this prestigious annual event.
Sally now has her own website www.sculpturesofthewild.com where her whole gallery of artefacts can be viewed.
