Tourism company 'gets website overhaul'
The graphic design firm Nixon has developed a brand new website for the Tresco Estate, the Isles of Scilly holiday company.
As part of a continuing rebranding project, it is hoped that the new site will allow Tresco to continue to grow into the future, reports Digital Arts.
Managing director at Nixon, Martin Nixon, said that the digital sector is perhaps the most important as businesses look to sustain expansion.
He added that it was essential the website encapsulated all the factors, which echo that Tresco is one of the most prestigious operators in the business and that this was a challenge.
"The Web site needed to not only reflect this prestige with stunning photography to showcase every aspect of this jewel of an island but also, essentially, to maximise the speed and ease of navigation," he told the publication.
Both companies have been working together since 2005, which has resulted in the holiday brand already having been shortlisted for a Best Tourism Experience of the Year for 2007-08 award.
In other rebranding news, last month The Partners helped Airwave - the communications company - to successfully change its design.
