Creating powerful Goals - 1.1
The biggest mistake I see teams make is that they do not have a set of clear goals however think about it logically … If you don’t know where you are going then how are you going to get there therefore we advise that you set both individual goals & team goals.
Once you have created a set of goals you must gain commitment to the goals and align them to your organisational goals.
In every workshop I run I always ask the delegates what the organisational goals are and 9 out of 10 times they don’t know! Therefore before you try to gain commitment to the organisational goals firstly you must ensure that your team are aware of them and secondly the part they play in achieving that goal.
