Rotary Awareness Evening
Tuesday 28 November 2006

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to a Rotary Awareness Evening to be held at the Royal Adelaide Hotel, 46 Kings Road, Windsor SL4 2AG, commencing at 7.15pm.

The purpose of the evening is to raise public understanding and awareness of Rotary International and, in particular, Rotary in Windsor. Many people have heard of Rotary. Many have seen Rotarians in their communities. Few realise how this is just the tip of the ice-berg; Rotary has 1.2 million members in over 200 countries.

The evening will be an opportunity for us to demonstrate how, through community service and other means, Rotary club members help promote peace and understanding throughout the world. We will show you the benefits that Rotary offers to business and professional men and women in Windsor and the surrounding area by being part of a fun, social and compassionate network.

7.15pm to 7.45pm Reception

7.45pm to 8.15pm Presentation

8.15pm to 8.45pm for Questions and Discussion

8.45pm to 10.00pm Three course buffet meal, Informal chat

As a charitable voluntary organisation we must ask for £13.95 in order to cover the costs of the meal.

You are welcome to bring a guest or pass this invitation on to a colleague or friend who you think would be interested to know more about Rotary. If you are unable to accept our invitation and would like to visit us some other time, please let us know on the attached form so that we can give you details of upcoming speakers and events.

Please complete the enclosed reply slip and return it to us by Friday 17 November. It would be very helpful to us if you could return the reply slip even if you are not able to attend.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope we’ll be able to meet on Tuesday 28 November.

Yours faithfully,

Mike Brown
President
