Dr Robert Pickles presents...
The most recent speaker at The Rotary Club of Windsor & Eton meeting held at The Mercure Castle Hotel Windsor was Dr Robert Pickles.

Dr Pickles is a Vet from Liverpool who studied at The Royal Veterinary College London. His first Job was in Liverpool working for a Vet practice who dealt with Lord Derby's Estate & The Earl of Sefton's Estate near Liverpool. After a few years Dr Pickles moved to Windsor & helped to look after the Queen's animals on the Great Park Estate.

After a few more years Dr Pickles went into Pharmaceuticals & joined Eli Lilly eventually becoming European Director living in Vienna.

In 2001 Dr Pickles & his Wife Jane returned home to Windsor. It was then he Joined the Rotary Club of Windsor & Eton. Dr Pickles became President in July 2007 after heading up the fundraising Committee. In his year Dr Pickles took the Rotary Club to Liverpool for the weekend during Liverpool's year as City of Culture and a great time was had by all. Bob & Jane are keen ball room dancers & during his year as President he introduced a number of Rotarians to Ball Room Dancing. Dr Pickles is Chairman of The Phyllis Court dancing Society in Henley & Jane the Secretary.
