Notice to Bidders – Terms and Conditions

Item: Brand new unregistered MG TF LE500. Colour: Black

Conditions of Sale: The above vehicle has been generously donated by MG Motor UK Limited to benefit The Prince Philip Trust Fund and other Rotary Club Nominated Charities as part of The Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival charity fundraising event. It is offer for sale by tender through The Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton (Registered as a charity No: 1001549)

Form of Tender: Sealed bid tender with offers invited in excess of £9,500

Tender: The highest bid received over £9,500 will be deemed the successful bid.

Draw situation: In the event of two or more identical highest bids each highest bidder will be contacted and asked if they wish to increase their bid or withdraw. The ultimate highest bid will win.

Notification: The successful bidder will be advised by telephone fax or email.

Payment Terms: Payment in full must be made within 5 days of the successful bidder being notified.

Exclusions: The cost of First Registration, Number Plates, Road Tax and Manufacturers’ Delivery charge are NOT included in the bid price offered.

Collection of vehicle: The successful bidder will have to collect the vehicle from Advantage MG, Octagon House, 1 Over Road, Swavesey, Cambridge, CB24 4QZ (MG Motor UK Ltd Franchise Holder and part of The MG Owners’ Club) The vehicle will have a manufacturers warranty, full pre-delivery inspection and will be registered and taxed ready for collection. At the time of printing the additional costs that will have to be paid to Advantage MG are: First Registration fee: £55.00, Road Tax 12 months: £170.00 Manufacturers Delivery Charge: £310.00. Number Plates: £24.00

Conditions: This sealed bid auction is open to anyone over the age of 18 years and bids must be submitted by the closing date of 31st May 2009.
