If any local MG owners would like to take part in the Parade through Windsor please contact David Shaw on 01753 855073 or a mail your details to david.a.shaw@blueyonder.co.uk On Monday 2nd March 2009 members of MG Motor UK who are based at Longbridge, Birmingham visited Windsor Castle and The Rotary Club of Windsor & Eton at The Mercure Castle Hotel. MG Motor UK are the headline sponsor for the Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival taking place on Saturday 25th April which is being hosted by Rotarian HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh KG KT. MG Motor UK is now owned by SIC a Chinese Car manufacturer producing 1.8 million cars a year world wide. If any local MG owners would like to take part in the Parade through Windsor please contact David Shaw on 01753 855073 or a mail your details to david.a.shaw@blueyonder.co.uk The cars will parade through Windsor & be reviewed by HRH Prince Philip and then be on public display in Frogmore Parade Ground off the Long Walk. It is hoped about 1000 MGS will take part in this Heritage event celebrating the 85th year of the first MG. All profits from the day will go to local Charities via The Prince Philip Trust Fund & Rotary.
