The Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival
A unique and special event is happening on the 25th April 2009 - The Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival. The event organised jointly by the Windsor and Eton Rotary Club and the MG Owners Club will see around 1,300 MG's arrive in Windsor to raise funds for The Prince Philip Trust Fund and Rotary Club Charities.

300 MG's will form a spectacular cavalcade representing the full history of the marque, driving through the streets of Windsor and into the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle where it is anticipated that the cars may be reviewed by Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. The remaining 1,000 MG's will converge and park on the Long Walk in Windsor Great Park from multi start point scenic runs. After the Parade a public viewing by around 5000 people will take place on Frogmore Parade Ground off the Long Walk.

To commemorate this exclusive event The Rotary Club of Windsor & Eton has put together a sponsors package. We will be firstly producing a full colour flyer to promote this event. It will be distributed all over Windsor and given out with the 5500 entrance souvenir brochures and will available to the 30,000 MG Owners’ Club members. You can design your own advert.

In return for sponsorship in excess of £500 we will offer you the opportunity for at least two people to watch the hopefully Royal review from within the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle, entry to Frogmore to see all the MG's before the public viewing with lunch. Also attendance at the Gala Dinner on the Saturday night at The Castle Hotel where it is hoped Motor sport celebrities and guest speakers will be in attendance. A sandwich lunch & promotional stall may also be possible in Frogmore.

All profits from the MG Heritage Festival will be donated to The Prince Philip Trust Fund and Rotary Charities.
I do appreciate it is not the best of times to be asking for sponsorship but as you can image all the arrangements for the event were made before the recession came along.

In my year as President of The Windsor and Eton rotary club and a MG owner I do want this event be a success, and hope you will be able to help. We would welcome any support for the local charity event and I would be more than happy to discuss any elements of the event with you.

Yours Sincerely

P S Bayley
President
