Today's Duck Race
This years Windsor Business Duck Race 2008 was won by McDonalds, read more about the event here.

Today, 28th June 2008, Windsor & Eton Rotary are holding the Royal Windsor Midsummer Fayre. For local businesses the height of this event will be a duck race on the Thames.

May the best duck win!

Windsor & Eton Rotary have come up with a great idea to generate funds for the Windsor Christmas lights. A Duck race down the Thames! Today, the 28th June 2008, as part of the Royal Windsor Midsummer Fayre. Thousands of ducks will be released. Most will be small ducks costing £2 each and the chance to win £500. Some will be British Beefeater Ducks representing local businesses and costing £25. There is a prize but this is more about giving to the local community and making Christmas 2008 one to remember the great lights!

This event is part of the Royal Windsor Midsummer Fayre, featuring Elaine Hill’s Sheep Dog, duck and animal demonstrations; Fun Fair; Punch & Judy; MG Cars; and much more at Alexander Gardens, Windsor. Staring at 12 noon, Saturday 28th June. www.windsorandetonrotary.org.uk

Every business that purchases at business duck is entitled to a free page on this website. They simply need to contact Business in Berkshire on 01753 852904 to discuss their listing.
