Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief
Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief Taking London's Catwalk By Storm

Star Studded Fashion Show To Benefit The Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal

Naomi Campbell presents Fashion For Relief, the grand finale catwalk show for London Fashion Week 2007 bringing together runway excitement, glamour, and to raise money for the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal. Fashion For Relief will be held in the British Fashion Council tent at the Natural History Museum on the evening of September 20th.

This, the second Fashion For Relief event will bring together industry giants featuring clothing by the world's most renowned and respected houses including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Pepe Jeans, and Vivienne Westwood with their fashions strutted down the runway by the likes of legendary models and celebrities including Daphne Guinness, Jodie Kidd, Leah Wood, Rio Ferdinand, Rosario Dawson, Tyson Beckford, Yasmin Le Bon with many more to be confirmed. This event, with tickets for sale to the public, is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the thrill of Fashion Week, up close and personal.

"I think this is an important opportunity to really show what the fashion community can do to help others. Fashion is universal, touches everyone in some way, every community – and the catwalk, my hometown catwalk to be precise, always a very special place for me, can be used to raise money and funds for the flood relief," said Naomi Campbell.

Christopher Bailey has designed an exclusive limited edition Fashion For Relief t- shirt that will be sold in Burberry stores nationwide and online at www.burberry.com for a price of £50. The New Bond Street and Knightsbridge Burberry stores will have a special 'Fashion For Relief' window display installed to coincide with the t-shirt arriving in stores on September 14th with a waiting list online for those who want to pre-order.

"I am thrilled to work with Naomi on this project, which is very close to my heart. So many people were affected across the country including many of those from where I live in Yorkshire. Both myself and Burberry are delighted to be able to support this very worthwhile cause." - Christopher Bailey, Burberry Creative Director.

Extensive support for this year's Fashion For Relief has come from a variety of sponsors including the British jeweller, Garrard.

"Garrard, the British fine jeweller is delighted to be supporting Naomi and Fashion for Relief. Combining fashion and jewellery in this spectacular way we can help to raise awareness and much needed funds for this important UK cause," says Robert Procop, CEO Garrard.

Further support has been provided by Mac Cosmetics, Marks & Spencers, New Look and Topshop.

Fashion For Relief was set up two years ago to demonstrate the kind of contributions the fashion community can make. The first Fashion For Relief was held in 2005 in New York City during their fashion week, and raised more than a million dollars for the Hurricane Katrina relief.

All money raised will go to the Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal and 100% of the funds raised will be used directly to assist communities in the affected flood districts. It was recently reported in the news that estimated flood damage in the UK is 3 billion pounds.

Alan Jagger, President of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland said, "This flood appeal is important to relieve the hardship of the victims of the recent flooding. Rotary is able to react very quickly and effectively through its national, district and local structures. We would like to thank Naomi Campbell and Fashion For Relief for their important contribution to our flood relief efforts."

Tickets for the event will be available to the public for purchase through Ticketmaster, at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or by calling 0870 243 4455 as of Wednesday, September 12th. For this exclusive event, front row seats will cost £750, second row £500, all other seats £300 and standing £100 plus a reduced Ticketmaster service charge. The front row VVIP tickets priced at £750 will also include an extraordinary gift bag with items such as: Fashion For Relief t-shirt by Burberry, Garrard pendant, Missoni and Naomi Campbell fragrance, Gucci leather good, Mulberry wallet, CDs from Virgin media all placed in a highly coveted limited edition Julie Verhoeven/Mulberry bag.
