Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional people. Royal Windsor is fortunate to have two active Rotary Clubs; meeting lunchtime and evening.
There are 20 Rotary Clubs within 8 miles of Windsor, over 60 in Rotary District 1090 (spanning the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex and Oxfordshire in central southern England) and over 1,800 in the British Isles – all serving tirelessly with the Rotary motto in mind, “Service Above Self”. Members of a Rotary Club usually live or work in the area surrounding the club. Each Rotary Club operates autonomously within the Rotary family and selects causes it wishes to support each year.
Clubs welcome membership enquiries from those who want to combine fun with friendship and make a difference in the community. Business often includes a talk on a subject of general interest by an outside speaker.
