Protean Marketing has responded to increased demand for its creative services by boosting its in-house design expertise. Looking to build on the recent expansion of its studio operations, the Berkshire-based integrated marketing specialist has confirmed the appointment of Senior Designer, Darren Rippengale.
Complementing the diverse skills sets already in place at Protean Design; Rippengale brings with him a valuable combination of design expertise and industry experience. Having spent a decade working in the field of print and web design, both with agencies and in a freelance capacity, Rippengale has acquired proven specialisation in the formation of creative campaigns, corporate ID and branding. In particular, his unique expertise has seen him work for major blue chip organisations and leading global IT brands.
“I am looking forward to assuming the position of Senior Designer at Protean, and building on the established foundations of its studio operations,” explains Rippengale. “I am especially looking forward to expanding the company’s growing client base even further, applying its strategic and creative expertise for new markets. It is a fantastic opportunity to be joining such an experienced team and the mixed skills base it represents. Whether it’s animation, print, web or multimedia, I believe there are virtually no limits to what we can do!”
Rippengale joins Protean Design with a BSc in Multimedia and Design Communications from the University of Plymouth. Following his recent successful freelance career, Rippengale’s appointment at Protean Design looks set to continue the studio’s current rate of growth. “I am delighted to be able to welcome Darren to the Protean studio,” comments Head of Creative at Protean, David Jones. “I am confident that his natural ability and range of design skills will help us to further expand the studio and innovatively meet the challenges of new markets.”
