Trio announce new commercial property ventures
A number of new retailers have announced that they are to move into a revamped shopping centre in Kent.
The Marlowe Arcade in Canterbury has seen the new names sign up for space near the Whitefriars Shopping Centre, reports Property Mall.
New organisations to announce that they are to acquire property at the development include Hobbs, the jewellery seller Swarovski and the fashion retailer Pietro Filipi. All the deals were done for between £125,000 and £85,000.
The property is owned by Land Securities and the firms were advised during the deals by Leslie Furness.
Tim Hance from Leslie Furness stated that the development is expected to see further activity in the future.
"Marlowe Arcade is continuing to draw an exciting high-quality fashion mix and is introducing fresh brands to Canterbury. We have strong interest in the remaining units and further lettings are expected shortly," he commented.
According to Land Securities, the Marlow Arcade is set to become a principle shopping destination in Canterbury.
