Positive Energy - Shapeshifters of the New Millennium

Dear Dream Changers ~ Shapeshifters of the New Millennium,

In recent years we have refined our core statement to capture our essence as Dream Change moves forward in the world of Change: Serving Earth through Self Awareness - Waking Our World.

This change has helped us clarify how we view our world and our place in it. Our reality recreates itself from moment to moment and within the gaps of each moment lies the potential to create anew. Increasingly, the dream of a global earth-honoring community contrasts even more starkly against the nightmarish backdrop of alternatives. Has the MOMENT-UM of imbalance accelerated beyond our ability to recognize the gaps - to see that we can change?

What would the world look and feel like if it arose from wakeful action and responsible relationship? How DO we wake up from this nightmare? Our world reflects who we are and what we value. The predominant values of our culture have filled in all the gaps and solidified this nightmare, or so it may seem. Many regard the human species as a slumbering consciousness not awake to its own potential, its impact upon a fragile planet and not even to the orchestration of its own demise. What would happen if the world woke itself up and predominant values shifted? What would our eyes see then?

If the sages and wise elders of diverse cultures around the world are accurate in their predictions alive for centuries, the human species is in the midst of an evolution of consciousness - the likes of which we've never experienced. Global chaos and environmental catastrophe may be the catalysts for this awakening. This 'New Age of Light' promises to open slumbering eyes to allow higher levels of our humanness - our Light - to shine through. These natural telepathic, intuitive, energetic and compassionate qualities are our birthright, as is the capacity to live harmoniously with our world.

With the acceleration of our own brilliance through technological and scientific advances, we must wonder why archaic and destructive practices of oil drilling and our pollution problems are allowed to persist. The genius of the human species is to create. The abundance of already-created alternative and renewable energy technologies is a template for living in our homes and communities as we change our dream to an earth-honoring one. But beyond embracing renewable energy sources, we must change how we LIVE - cutting consumption, moving toward sustainable populations, letting go of materialism to embrace deeper values for living. NOW. We must 'walk our talk' so future generations can follow and thrive. As we take action against what destroys our hope, let's anchor in a new paradigm to become more wakeful beings.

It is not uncommon for solutions to even the toughest of problems to become visible through simple shifts of perception - through wakeful relationship. Let us each take deep, soulful breaths, and remember that we CAN create freshly together. Let's rediscover the gaps and dream a new world that reverberates soul and earth-honoring values. Nature moves toward homeostasis and the present situation is no different. Our earth will do what she needs to move back into balance, and as she does so, we're all destined to change whether we see it coming or not. To survive as a species and take this opportunity for higher potential – we can take the obvious cues and participate consciously with change.
