During the summer 2008 we went to visit my sister in Leeds. Well, we went to stay with my mum & dad but you get the idea! The kids could play together and we could catch up on each other’s worlds. She gave Ali a book to read, which she finished within a few days, as she can. I then picked it up and enjoyed it over the next 10 days, as I tend to read every word, then go back and read the one’s I’ve missed!
Anyhow, Angels in my Hair by Lorna Byrne is an excellent read for those with a spiritual leaning. It’s probably an interesting read for those without, it could even tune them in! Lorna was born in Ireland and was able to see and talk to angels from a very early age. She explains that many children are aware of angels but they simply lose the connection as they get older. The book talks about her life and her interactions with angels and how they have helped her throughout her life to deal with things that most of us have to handle alone, or so we think. Each of us has a guardian angel that looks after us but we are totally unaware of their assistance and Lorna’s mission for us all, is to stop dashing around, take a little time and connect with our angels by simply asking for help with things and giving thanks, not by writing a cheque, but simply by saying “Thank you!” Probably best to leave it to Lorna to introduce herself.
