MP complains to Slough clamping firm
Rob Wilson, Member of Parliament for Reading East, has written to Slough car clamping firm ‘Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd’ (PCM) to complain about their heavy handed policy of clamping users of the Caversham Road Retail Park car park when they visit the Royal Mail sorting office.

He has requested that the company investigate reports of unfair clamping and refund those who are found to have been unfairly penalised.

Rob said “I can fully understand the owners of the retail park wishing to prevent all day parkers abusing the car park but if the reports I have seen are correct PCM seem to be using this as a source of revenue to penalise my constituents who just wish to collect their mail.

"The irony is that this aggressive approach will probably deter legitimate customers of the retail park leading to a loss of revenue for the shops there”.
