The rebuilt St. Paul’s Cathedral was officially reopened, holding the first service since its reconstruction. The job of designing the new Cathedral was assigned to architect Christopher Wren in 1668, two years after the Great Fire of London gutted the original building. The Cathedral was not actually fully rebuilt until 1708. It is now one of London’s most visited sites. For more info click here |
