The Idea:
The idea behind the site is to provide a source of information for those whose thirst for knowledge is insatiable. We also hope that it will inspire others, especially young people, to develop an interest in the people and events that make this world tick. Not only do we provide information on our own site, but we also direct and connect people to additional sources of quality information so that the learning doesn’t end with us.
Background Info:
We have produced Onthisdayinhistory.co.uk since February 2003 as an email newsletter. At the start of the year we decided to use our BusinessinBerkshire.co.uk cms system to publish the news online. Because of the site’s popularity, we now have a page dedicated to every day of the year, each packed full of fun and interesting facts.
If you spot any errors, then we apologise and we will endeavour to put it right if you bring it to our attention.
