Quadrupal your prospect list

Would you like to be featured in newspaper articles, on the radio and on TV but don’t know where to start?

If you want to get free editorial coverage in magazines, newspapers, on radio and on TV then you have to have a story that will interest the journalist, and that means finding a newsworthy or “sexy” angle to what you do.

This is often completely different from your USP and is not about what your customers like about you. It’s all about what a journalist will find interesting.

This interactive session shows you;
  • How the media is structured
  • How to find what’s newsworthy about what you do
  • How to develop a “sexy” angle that will attract the journalist
  • How to piggy-back other stories to get your own coverage

About Ecademy of Networking (ECON)

ECON is a not for profit organisation founded over 5 years ago by Olu Odeniyi a local Maidenhead businessman after leaving Nortel Networks in 2003. Since then ECON has run regular monthly meetings with the aim of providing a supportive environment where business relationships are formed, leadership and business skills are developed.

The meetings are centred around an expert speaker on a particular business topic and one or two other planned activities which encourage sharing of information, execution of ideas, relationship building and the development of effective business strategies. Core values of the group include encouraging openness, fostering trust, creating a supportive business environment, member capability demonstration, local business influence and integrity.

Fees generated from meetings are used to reimburse speakers’ travel expenses, room hire and other operational expenses. ECON does not compete with any other networking groups but rather aims to collaborate and support them through joint and reciprocated promotions.

Whilst ECON has emerged from an online business networking group called ecademy, attendees do not need to be members of ecademy (there are additional benefits to those who are) or any other organisation – all are welcome.
