4Networking – a New Approach to Business Networking
Launching recently in Newbury, a new networking group promises an exciting and radically different approach for businesses keen to network. With breakfast meetings at a growing number of locations throughout the UK, 4Networking offer an unstuffy and open approach to networking and aim to avoid stifling rules and restrictions.
4Networking run fortnightly breakfast meetings (from 8am to 10am), kicking off with coffee and informal networking. Over breakfast, each attendee has an opportunity to talk about their business to the group and a guest speaker will give a 10-minute ‘4-Sight’ presentation.
There follows a structured 1-2-1 ‘Let’s Talk’ round which gives everyone an opportunity to chat individually with the other networkers. It’s a method which claims to create real business at every meeting. Members and guests pay £10 to cover breakfast and meeting room fees whilst membership starts at an affordable £50 plus VAT for a 3-month trial. Members can join up to one specific group or purchase a multi-group membership enabling them to attend any 4Networking group.
At the Newbury launch, held at Donnington Grove Country Club, chairman of 4Networking in Berkshire Trevor Jenkins explained how 4Networking differes from other networking groups: “It is not networking as we know it! We try to get rid of as many rules as possible, it is truly different. For example, we actually allow people from the same types of business to work together… Horror!”
