Has Summer Come Early?...
What happened to spring? We seem to have jumped straight into summer… Whilst we’re basking in this fantastic hot sunny weather, don’t forget how strong the sun’s rays can be - even when it clouds over. If your children are playing outside in the garden or in the park, try to keep them well-covered with suncream to protect that delicate skin.
When we launched MiniMoonsailors last year, we realised that as well as offering children’s UV swimwear we should also stock a nice range of organic sun lotions and creams for children. After much research, we settled on a supplier called ‘Green People’ - their products represent the best combination of high quality and value for money we could find. We used the products ourselves on our 3 youngsters and were very impressed – so were they.
One thing that particularly amazed us was how little of each product you need to use – a small quantity goes a long way – which means a tube of cream seems to last forever. The range comprises a selection of sun creams and lotions as well as ‘After Sun’ and all offer a high level of natural protection from harmful UVA and UVB radiation. They are rich in antioxidants, soothing (suitable for sensitive skins) and moisture-retaining for water resistance.
The Green People range of suncreams for kids give excellent UV protection whilst using completely natural ingredients like aloe vera, avocado, mint, echinacea, elderflower, lavender, and edelweiss. As well as sun protection creams for children, the range also includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, top-to-toe lotion, and a baby travel gift pack.
