When my brother in law announced at Christmas that he and his lovely girlfriend were getting married in June, as family, we were delighted …… plenty of time to organise a new outfit …choose a hat … and do all the other things ‘one’ does as honory guest! As time whizzed by, before I knew where I was - I was in panic mode in Windsor, a couple of days before the wedding. Not a thing to wear…you know the story?
In a certain clothes shop, (a numbered phase in Windsor!) a very helpful young lady excelled in customer service – lots of help and assistance … extremely pleasant and patient (even after five different outfits) …not too pushy … very calming and reassuring … someone who positively enjoys the customer service experience … oh what a difference that made to the whole shopping experience for me. The results – one very happy customer and no doubt a very happy sales assistant who hopefully earned good sales commission from her work. Emmm. … Maybe I will have a word with Mr Davey to see if his customer service experience of Windsor has improved. Good people make good business.
