- You’re the newest member of the team. How long have you worked for Verbatim and where were you before?
It’s only my third week, so I’m very new, but I’ve been made to feel so welcome that I feel like I’ve been here much longer. Before this I was a waitress at the local Toby Carvery.
- Have you done virtual reception work before?
I’ve worked in offices and done administrative work in the past, including reception work, but I haven’t done virtual reception work like this before.
- How would you describe Verbatim's service?
We’re not a call centre. I’d simply say that we’re a reception service for a number of different companies: that sums it up, really!
- What do you like about working at Verbatim?
Despite the fact that we’re very busy, there’s a great atmosphere here and it feels very relaxed. The team are great and, like I said before, I have been made to feel really welcome.
- Some of the others are running the Newbury Race for Life in July. Have you already been roped in?
I have actually! But that’s OK, I go to the gym regularly and I’ve actually done the Race for Life before. My friend Laura already works here and it was her who persuaded me to join the rest of them in running the race. Now I need to get some training done! July isn’t far away…
