Mission to Help 100 People's Dreams Come True
About 3 years ago Karen Harmsworth, founder of Life Doctor, was in the thick of her Nutrition studies and loving the new things she was learning about food and health. As a life long yo-yo dieter she found the concepts and theories so much better than all the diet myths she had lived by in the past. At that point she decided - "This is it - this is the year I finally succeed and lose weight, and I'll keep it off!". And by applying nutritional theories instead of dieting activities, that dream did come true - to the tune of 31 pounds, but not only that, it's still working now as she sheds pounds slowly and surely each year.
When you achieve a life long goal, ambition or fundamenetally change how you look or feel it has an incredible affect. Your confidence soars, you become open to other possibilities and especially if its the hardest thing you've ever done - you suddenly realise that maybe you can do other things too! It has a great knock on effect around you as well, as friends and family start to think "Well if she can do it after all these years - so can I!"
Knowing how many years she had previously made a resolution to slim down or get active - and not succeeded, Karen decided she wanted to help others finally make their resolutions come true too.
