Digital Horizons 2012 Programme
Sign Up for the Programme ‘Early Bird’ Deadline: 31st August
Online Social Networking, Blogging, Internet Broadcasting and Viral Marketing For Culture, Media and Sport Businesses
Following the highly successful Digital Horizons programme, SEMN and its partners are now inviting individuals to sign up for its equally innovative successor – Digital Horizons 2012 - which launches later in the autumn.
The ‘Early Bird’ deadline for registration is 31st August. Details of the cost are provided below. The project is led by SEMN with our partners Skillset, Screen South and Wired Sussex who worked with us on the original Digital Horizons, and with Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication who are delivering the workshop series. The programme is supported financially by SEEDA (South East England Development Agency) and by in-kind contributions by the partners. It is run in association with the major sports, media and culture agencies in the South East of England.
Digital Horizons 2012 welcomes applications from individuals working in sports and cultural enterprises who have an online remit, and from freelancers and companies working in film, television, music, games, publishing and mobile content.
The course consists of 6 intensive workshops imparting specific technical skills including online social networking, blogging, internet broadcasting and viral marketing. It features 6 seminars based on culture and sports case studies where these companies, or organisations, have engaged online expertise to attract an audience or develop a customer base. It will launch in autumn 2008 and conclude in May 2009 with a wrap networking event.
Digital Horizons 2012 focuses on imparting the online skills, connections, contacts and intelligence which will enable culture, media and sport enterprises to maximise the online opportunities for engagement and business offered by the London 2012 Games. Download our flyer with further details.
