Nicola Joyce joins Wokingham magazine launch |
Nicola Joyce has joined the editorial team of Wokingham's first dedicated family fitness magazine (called...er..."Family Fitness Magazine", funnily enough). She'll be contributing regular features about sporty and outdoorsy activities that families can do around the Wokingham area.
Family Fitness Magazine is the brainchild of local yoga teacher and Mum and her martial-artist husband. They saw a need for a resource dedicated to getting families and children of all ages out and about in the local area, making the most of the sports clubs, leisure facilities and great outdoors that the Wokingham area has to offer. Family Fitness Magazine wants to be the area's definitive guide to health, fitness and wellbeing for families. It will offer useful and informative articles (that's where Nicola comes in!) and information to local residents whilst also providing local businesses with an affordable advertising platform. The magazine will be distributed quarterly as an A4 glossy and all editorial and advertising will also be given ample space on the magazine's online space. The website will hold listings of relevant local businesses as well as being a place to share thoughts and ideas on health, fitness and wellbeing in Wokingham. Nicola is a freelance copywriter and journalist, who regularly writes sport and fitness-related articles for national consumer magazines.
