What's Your Company's Christmas Communication?
I know, it's only October, but Christmas is now less than 70 days away and, if you're thinking of corporate Christmas communications, you need to start getting your ideas down on paper. Here's a few things that you might consider...
You could send traditional cards to clients, suppliers, prospective clients and friends of the company, but think about adding your own twist by personalising the message inside. This way, you can communicate a bit of company news, or perhaps your aims for 2006.
If cards aren't your thing, why not send an email? You could even think about donating the money you save to charity, and let the email recipients know that this is what you're doing. Email are free, and there's no limit to the amount of copy you can send. Think about what you want to include, and in what format. Do you want to include a photo of staff or a project you're proud of from 2005?
How about a short newsletter? This can round up company news from 2005, send festive greetings and good wishes to recipients, and give some idea of what your firm's aims are for 2006. You'll have free rein when it comes to design and images, and you're free to communicate your personal style to your closest corporate friends.
Whatever you choose, the Christmas clock is ticking! Take typesetting, proof reading, printing and postage time into account when planning your Christmas communication.
If you need a hand in putting your Christmas or New Year message together, give me a call. I'll help you to write a suitable method of communication that conveys your company character and style as we go from 2005 to 2006.
