World Winter Swimming Championships - February 2008 |
Not the sea, and hardly long-distance, but very cold! The World Winter Swimming Championships migrated from its native Finland to Tooting Bec lido, and Nicola was there. She took part in both the traditional "head-up breastroke" ice-swimming event (and came 7th in the world in her age group) and the freestyle. Brrr! |
