There's a lot of backstory to this one but she won't bore you with it now. Suffice to say that - after many challenges - Nicola finally swam around Jersey on 15 September 2007. Over 40 miles in 12 hours (and one second). Phew.
Hers was the 57th round-Jersey swim and she became the 51st person/30th woman to complete the swim.
