November 2008 - a feature for the WI

November was a busy month for Nicola. She worked on a National Conference, wrote case studies for a PR company and even wrote a feature for the Women's Institute's annual publication.

She continued to work regularly as a freelance conference producer for CIBSE, helping them source speakers for their National Conference as well as several smaller events.

She wrote copy for new and existing clients, including e-newsletters for the LPA and Assorti, and web-copy for various Business in Berkshire microsite clients.

She was busy with fitness journalism, too: she tried out a WaterCrew class for Women's Fitness magazine, did a few kit tests for 220 Triathlon and worked on a commission for Triathlete's World.

She pitched the Editor of the Women's Institute annual publication, Women's Health with an idea for an article, and was quickly commissioned to write a feature about the various ways people can learn to swim as adults. She hopes the article (when it comes out in January 09) will inspire WI members to take to the pool!
