I want more customers not just traffic
Of course once you have these visitors to your site, you need to convert them to customers
It's no good having thousands of visitors to your site if they are the wrong type of visitor. What you want are the right type. You know, the buying ones!
Website Promotion is only going to bring in the buying customers if you are targeting your promotion correctly.
The messages about your product have to be clear. Make sure that you really are promoting your site with messages that will appeal specifically to your type of visitor. Don't be tempted to "tweak" your message a little to give it broader appeal if the people you will now appeal to our unlikely to be real customers.
Decide clearly who your target market is and stick to it rigidly.
