If you are looking for a great family day out then join Slough Rotary and a bunch of friends for a Jubilee River Fun Walk on 24th August 2008.
Walk as far as you like... you don’t need to walk miles and miles, just simply walk a few hundred yard, lay out your blanket, open up your picnic basket and settle back for some good old people watching! Get sponsorship to aid local charities... or just pay your registration fee and join in the fun. Bank Holiday Sunday, 24th August 2008, make it a date and bring a picnic. Our friends at Grundon will make sure there are plenty of bins... please use them, keep the Jubilee River bank tidy for future generations or critters! Lots of FREE parking, take advantage of this great opportunity for FREE parking! Refreshments, activities, we’re chid friendly and the River was designed with disabled people in mind.
