06 February:- Bracknell and Wokingham College Open Event

06 February:- Open Evening at Newbury College
Come and find out about Newbury College’s range of full time, part time, and professional courses. Have a chat with a Course Leader about course content and entry requirements plus have a tour of the campus.

10 February:- Free Kid's Art Workshop
Is the weather cold, dark and wet? You bet it is. But you can change all that by visiting The Living Rainforest where our hot rainforest temperatures, beautiful plants and animals will inspire you and your kids. Gemma Hardy is back by popular demand with her excellent art workshop. She will help you and your little ones to capture the magic of this special place. A fun, drop-in activity for all ages.

10 February:- Annual Exhibition at Newbury Model Railway Club
The Newbury Model Railway Club is holding its annual exhibition at a new venue for 2007.
Time: 10am to 5pm
Admission: £3 for adults, £2 for seniors, £1.50 for children and £7 for a family ticket.
Venue: Newbury College, Monks Lane, Newbury.


11 February:- Kids Print Making Workshop
Watch your child transform ordinary everyday objects into the extraordinary, creating new meanings and associations. Celia Hall is brilliant at drawing out the best in all ages and abilities.

12 February - 17 February: Multi Activity Camp - Half Term
The children take part in a wide range of activities including ice skating, skiing, sno-tubing, sno-bobbing, broomball, ice rounders and many games. Lunch is included on the day from our Honies Restaurant. Supervision starts at 08.00 and activities start at 09.00. We like the children to arrive early, activities run till around 17.00 and supervision finishes at 18.00.

14 February: Ink 'n' Things
Join Julie Roberts, MERL’s resident artist to draw with ink, salt and candles. Dress for mess! This workshop links to the Clifford Nickson temporary exhibition. Suitable for adults and children aged 7+.

14 February: 16 February: "Power and Motion" Half Term Family Activity Days
Drop in - no booking necessary. Parental supervision essential. Lots of craft ’make it and take it’ activities, hunts, trails and quizzes. Learn to march and salute and ’Survive SIR’s mini Assault Course’.

Time: 11 am to 3:30 pm
Suitable for children aged 5 - 12.


15 February: Impressive Printing
Join Julie Roberts, MERL’s resident artist for this drop-in workshop and learn to print with polystyrene. This workshop links to the Clifford Nickson temporary exhibition.
