Jelly Leg'd Chicken

The Jelly was set up in 1993 to exhibit quirky, innovative and enduring art. It enables the public access to the visual arts and gives the artists a chance to shine.
The Jelly Leg'd Chicken is located at: The Jelly Leg'd Chicken The Town Hall Blagrave Street Reading, RG1 1QH The Gallery Shop & Exhibition are open the following days and times: Tues-Sat 10am - 4pm Sundays 11am - 4pm Bank Hols 11am - 4pm Events, activities are continually occuring for both the young and old. Every Saturday morning, Family Activity Days are available from 10:30 -12:30. Families are welcomed to come along and drop in and partake in a activity within a relaxed environment. There is a vast array of paintings to paint or even books to read. Adults are welcomed to wonder throughout the gallery. Children's workshops are held during school holidays, and bookings are being taken for the October Half Term Holidays with themes from Ships and Voyages, making a spooky castle, puppets, papier mache monsters and printing and painting birds. Christmas Holidays schedule has also been arranged. After school art clubs as well as pre-school classes are also available.
